Official opening of IDA 2024-2025

On Thursday September 5, in the magnificent David Amphitheatre of the Faculté de Droit d'Aix-Marseille (AMU), the IDA celebrated its official opening in the presence of the Prime Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Associate Professor at the IDA and the Centre de droit économique de l'Université d'Aix-Marseille and the President ofAix-Marseille Université, Eric BERTON.

The class of 2024-2025 was welcomed by its sponsor, an exceptional sponsor in the person of Mr. Jean-Dominique Senard, President of Renault Group and of the Alliance Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi , whom we would like to thank once again for his trust.
A godfather who chose to name his class after Blaise Pascal, that great mind who proclaimed so well: what is right must be strong, and what is strong must be right.

In a speech that was as captivating as it was moving, Jean-Dominique Senard expressed his faith in this new generation of lawyers, particularly business lawyers, whose role, talent, creativity and responsibility will be decisive in meeting the immense challenges of our time.

Earlier in the morning, the new IDA Masters students were able to get a clearer idea of two of the professions to which most of them will be destined.

Firstly, the profession of business lawyer was presented by our colleague Louis Thibierge , in the presence of Maîtres Valérie Foudriat-Fernandez (Altaïr Avocats), Aude TUSAMBA (Clifford Chance Luxembourg), Julien Aucomte (August Debouzy), Benjamin Rosso (Numa Avocats) and Christopher Theris (Herbert Smith Freehills).

Marc Mossé, Honorary Chairman of theAFJE, then led a round table devoted to the profession of in-house lawyer, a profession represented by Valérie Sanyas NAOS (Bioderma - Institut Esthederm - Etat Pur), YannGuermonprez and Camille Lallemand (Airbus Helicopters) and finally Emmanuel ROLLIN (COLAS).

To all the students of the Blaise Pascal class, we wish you a wonderful year at the Institut de droit des affaires.
